Keynote address at World AIDS Day event

Professor Quarraisha Abdool Karim delivered the keynote address at an event to mark World AIDS Day, hosted by the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Abdool Karim’s address titled: Global responses to HIV/AIDS: Successes and Challenges to Ending AIDS. She said that the role of activism and social mobilisation in the HIV response is unprecedented in the context of health and there is a lot we can learn from this experience for other health and social challenges.
